These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for accessing and using the website the-life-bomb.com, the marketplace marketplace.joincolonylabs.com and the The Life Bomb mobile application, published by SAS Join Colony Labs (the "Publisher").
Accessing and using them implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
The Life Bomb is a mobile video game that combines running with game progression and includes features built on distributed ledger technology (the Solana blockchain).
The Life Bomb is not a medical application and not a medical device. The service is not an investment service, financial advice, a banking service, a payment service, nor a service for exchanging or holding crypto-assets on behalf of third parties.
Rewards distributed in the game are provided on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of monetary value, yield or consideration.
Access requires a compatible device, an Internet connection and location services enabled during runs.
Creating an account requires a valid email address. A user may hold several accounts, provided they are used personally and manually. Any automated operation, and any use of multiple accounts intended to divert referrals, distributions or leaderboards, is prohibited (Article 10).
Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from their account.
Users may delete their account at any time from the Application or by writing to infos@the-life-bomb.com.
The Application is restricted to adults aged 18 or over.
The Application gives access to wallet features, a marketplace between users and the holding of crypto-assets. The Publisher therefore restricts access to adults.
Creating an account constitutes a declaration by the user that they are at least 18 years old. The Publisher may suspend or delete any account whose holder appears to be a minor, and void the associated rewards.
Users engage in physical activity entirely at their own risk.
Before any activity, consulting a doctor is recommended, particularly in the event of a history of heart conditions, pregnancy, injury or ongoing treatment.
During a run, users must remain aware of their surroundings: traffic, pedestrians, obstacles, weather conditions. They must not handle their phone while crossing a road. No reward, no objective and no gain justifies taking a risk.
The Publisher cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries or damage occurring during or as a result of using the Application.
Items obtained and held off-chain (honey pots, jellies, tickets, progression, Pollen) are virtual game items. Users hold only a personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use them, limited to the Application.
CATKN and HELT tokens are crypto-assets issued on the Solana blockchain.
Withdrawal is not an acquired right. Holding, swapping and withdrawing to an external wallet are game features, which the Publisher enables, restricts, caps, suspends or removes, in whole or in part, on grounds including technical, security, anti-fraud or compliance reasons, without notice and without compensation.
As at the date of these Terms:
The Publisher gives no guarantee as to convertibility, liquidity or value of these tokens, and commits to no timeframe for making a withdrawal feature available or restoring it.
The current state of available features and applicable caps is shown in the Application and in the project's public documentation.
Some items may be represented by non-fungible tokens. Holding them confers a right to use them in the game; it confers no intellectual property right over the associated artwork, which remains the property of the Publisher, and confers no right over the company or its results.
Users acknowledge having been informed of, and accept, the following:
The Publisher makes available, within the Application, a feature allowing users to offer certain game items to other users.
The Publisher is not a party to the contract concluded between two users. It gives no guarantee as to the value, resale or liquidity of the items offered.
Service fees may be charged on each transaction; the rate is shown before confirmation. The Publisher may suspend a manifestly fraudulent listing, restrict the resale of a recently acquired or transferred item, cap volumes, and suspend or close the feature.
The mobile Application contains no in-app purchases. No payment is processed through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Game items are acquired outside the Application, on the marketplace.joincolonylabs.com marketplace, and paid for in crypto-assets from the user's wallet. Prices are shown before confirmation.
Under Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied immediately following the consumer's express agreement.
Transactions recorded on the blockchain are irreversible: no refund is possible once a transaction is confirmed. Any complaint may be sent to infos@the-life-bomb.com.
The following are prohibited, among others:
Controls. The Publisher operates automated detection systems based in particular on the analysis of movement traces, device identifier, IP address, correlations between accounts, and the integrity attestation mechanisms provided by Apple and Google.
Sanctions. In the event of a breach, the Publisher may, proportionately: void the rewards concerned, restrict access to certain features, suspend withdrawals, suspend or delete the account. Users may appeal to infos@the-life-bomb.com.
The service is provided "as is". The Publisher guarantees neither continuous availability nor the absence of errors. Game rules, balancing and content may change, including drop rates, caps and withdrawal rate limits.
Should the service be permanently discontinued, off-chain game items will be lost without compensation. Arrangements concerning on-chain assets will be communicated to users within a reasonable time.

The Publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage, in particular the loss of data, progression or game items, nor for financial losses resulting from changes in the value of crypto-assets.
Nothing in these Terms excludes the Publisher's liability in the event of wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or where the law prohibits such exclusion.
Creating links to the Site requires prior written authorisation. The Site and the Application may link to third-party services whose content the Publisher does not control.
The Publisher may amend these Terms. Any substantial change is brought to users' attention in the Application or by email.
French law. An amicable solution should first be sought at infos@the-life-bomb.com.
Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers.
